- What is it?
- PRIDE (Parents Resource Institute for Drug
Education) has earned an international reputation
for excellence and reliability as a provider of
prevention services in the area of alcohol and
other drugs.
3PRIDE Youth Programs
- Founded in 1977 by Thomas J Gleaton, Jr., Ed.D.
and Marsha Keith Schuchard, Ph. D., PRIDE began
as a parents organization and went on to expand
its base to serve youth. The organization has
evolved into what is now know as PRIDE Youth
Programs.

strong no-use message to their peers and
community.

- Kaukaunas Club PRIDE Team
- Kaukaunas PRIDE Pals Team
11Kaukaunas High School PRIDE Team
- Kaukaunas PRIDE Team was trained in October,
1995. We have performed for schools, civic and
religious organizations and state wide Counselor,
Health and AODA Conferences. At present we have
39 members. Some of our team members are on the
Wisconsin State PRIDE Team. One of our members
became a National Trainer, and is now employed at
the national office as the International Trainer.
We have helped to train our Club PRIDE Team of
100 members, and our PRIDE pals with 25 members.
12Kaukaunas Club PRIDE
- Our Middle school program started in 1998. It
meets during homeroom time daily. Its focus is
drug and violence prevention education, and
learning and practicing positive peer power. At
present we have 80 members.
13Kaukaunas PRIDE Pals
- 4th and 5th grade PRIDE Pals began in 1999. These
25 members learn dances and puppet shows to help
younger classes make healthy choices
