  graduate course
• 1997 first on campus 4-week course
• 2001 expanded to 7-week course on campus and
  online
• Fall 2000 integrated into an OISE/UT distance
  education course

A Student Comments

• Completion of the online Virtual Library modules
  is critical for all students to be successful
  with graduate level research and I would support
  this as a required course for graduate degree
  certification.

• My suggestion to anyone teaching a research
  course would be to make a similar exercise
  compulsory.
• Only wish I had done this earlier on!
