Interest

• A person plans to invest twice as much money in a
  LaSalle Bank CD account at 2.5 annual interest
  as in a Franklin Strategic Mortgage account at 8
  annual interest. How much should the person
  invest in each account so that the total interest
  for one year will be 650?

• The length of a rectangle is 2 yards less than 3
  times the width. If the perimeter is 148 yards,
  find the length and width of the rectangle.

• An auditorium has 300 balcony seats and 1400
  main-level seats. If tickets for balcony seats
  are priced at 12 less than the price of
  main-level seats, what should the prices be for
  each type of ticket so that the total revenue
