  • What this MILCON did Constructed a facility to
    provide communications support for new facilities
    being added to Buckley AFB. The facility will
    provide space for administration, information
    management, expanded telephone operations,
    additional telephone maintenance,
    telecommunications equipment, the network control
    center, technical control center, and an
    information assurance center.

    large gatherings up to 450 personnel. Provides

  • What this MILCON does This project will provide
    a combined 120 unit Visitor Quarters and 30 unit

    eliminate costs incurred by billeting TDY
    personnel and recent PCS movers in local lodging
    facilities.

    areas that are currently located next to the CDC
    and Family Housing. Relocates the Fuels into one
    complex next to the Flight line.

Security Forces Operations Facility

  • Construct a new Security Forces Operations
    Facility to include central security control, law
    enforcement, resource protection, personnel
    security, information security, and training.
    The new facility is to be moved further away from
    the Priority Level 1 resource.

Logistics Readiness Complex

  • Constructs a Logistics Readiness Center to
    house the Traffic Management Office (TMO), cargo
    movements, supply warehouse, a Sensitive
    Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF),
    deployment operations, and mobility bag and
    weapons storage. This facility supports
    logistics, readiness, and deployment operations
    and the deployment of over 500 personnel as part
    of the Wings' Air Expeditionary Force.

  • Currently in FY13 FYDP
  • What the Project Does
  • Houses education functions for academic and
    professional military education for active duty,
    national guard and reserve military and DoD
    civilians. Includes PME, FTAC, ALS, Lecture/
    Training Classrooms, and Off-Duty/Continuing
    Education/College-Degree Programs. It will also
    include space for administrative requirements of
    these programs and the base library. The mutual
    requirements of all of these programs are lecture
    classrooms and an auditorium each with Video
    Tele-conferencing and Video Tele-training
    capability.

Vehicle Maintenance Facility

  • What the Project Does
  • Constructs a Vehicle Maintenance Facility (VMF)
    for assigned vehicles to receive routine,
    periodic and emergency maintenance and repairs.
    The existing VMF is undersized to meet the
    demands of active duty and tenant needs. The VMF
    will also house the administration and management
    functions for vehicle operations to include
    customer reception, private offices and storage.
