Go Abroad China (GAC)

• General Information
• Go Abroad China is an 9-year-old organization
  (since 2003) devoted to fostering international
  understanding through cultural exchange and
  educational programs in China. There are more
  than 900 individuals have participated in GAC
  programs since 2003.
• Mission
• Enhancing peoples understanding and knowledge
  about the Chinese culture
• Providing educational opportunities
• Allocating a portion of the budget and
  resources for improving education in rural
  schools and orphanages in China.

CHINESE LANGUAGE PROGRAM
  GAC Chinese Language Programs are designed to
immerse participants in Mandarin Chinese through
class instruction, after-class tutoring, language
exchange with native Mandarin Chinese speakers,
and culture electives and excursions.
The Chinese Language immersion programs
integrate all aspects of the language. Topics
studied include everyday situations and Chinese
culture. Teachers and supervisors are native
speakers who are highly experienced and
qualified, and hold university degrees in
teaching Chinese as a foreign language. All
levels are available.

GAC Chinese Language Programs are designed to

Core Language Classes Mandarin courses are
available at the most well-known universities in
China.

Language Exchange Participants get to experience
the cultural and social aspects of Chinese life
through regular interaction with Chinese students
and young professionals. This highly successful
component of the program has been the beginning
of many lasting friendships.
Cultural electives, social activities and guided
tours There are many exciting electives and
activities for all age groups, which includes
many social and cultural activities and also
guided tours and excursions across China.
