- JCI Local Organizations, in partnership with
UNESCO National Commissions, are involved in the
development of youth training programs related to
leadership, multi-cultural leadership, tolerance,
culture for peace and youth migration

- the number of childrens deaths caused by malaria
during the time we are here in Kuala Lumpur
attending this World Congress. - (1 child per 30 seconds).
9- Raise funds to purchase, transport and
distribute bed nets in Africa as well as educate
families on its correct use. Target distribute
1,000,000 bed nets by 2015

- Advocate UN Global Compact and Corporate
Social Responsibility (CSR) for Small-Medium
Enterprises (SMEs)

- JCI Local Organizations have been exploring
partnerships with the UN GC Local Networks to
implement the Corporate Social Responsibility
concept as well as the UN GC Principles in the
areas of human rights, labour, environment and
anti-corruption

- On March 4, 2004, 20 years after the signing
of a partnership agreement with the ICC-WCF, JCI
renewed its commitment to actively cooperating
with ICC-WCF in various areas and their
cooperation is proving to be mutually beneficial.

- JCI Local Organizations have been exploring
partnerships with Chambers of Commerce by
promoting the UN MDGs and exchanging resources
and training

- Climate change prevention is an issue that
concerns everyone around the world.

- It has been proven that government alone cannot
resolve issues of climate change. Civil society
or non-governmental organizations like ours are
playing a significant role in climate change
prevention.

- JCI is addressing this issue in every community
by adopting the JCI Active Citizen
23JCI UN Leadership Summit
JCI are conducting workshops at all four Area
conferences, then at JCI Leadership Summit at the
UN in Geneva July 27- 29, 2009 JCI will come up
with resolutions that will be adopted at JCI
World Congress. JCI is working with UN Global
Compact and the (ICC-WCF) International Chambers
of Commerce-World Chambers Federation to promote
climate change awareness
