• The S2 races were probably the best we ever saw
  in this young championship, and in both heats we
  had three or four riders battling for the win
  until the finish flag. The Aprilia riders got the
  first three positions during the super pôle, and
  Eddy Seel started both races from the inside of
  the first row. He was the main rival of the
  Aprilia riders, but he lost his chances when he
  crashed early in the opening race. He took his
  revenge in the following race he did all the
  race with Bolley, Van Den Bosch and Giraudo, and
  finally beat them all !

• After my victory in the first round of the
  Italian Championship on the same circuit 15 days
  ago, i got once again a superbe result in the
  opening race of the 2006 S2 World Championship.
• Despite bad luck in the first heat when i crashed
  with several other riders, this GP of Europe
  could have been another amazing start in the
  season.
• I was ranked on 28th position after 1 lap and
  finally finished on position 16th after a
  incredible come back !
• I started 3d in the second heat. I was so
  confident in my bike and my capacities. I did an
  intelligent race waiting for the right time to
  pass the Aprilia armada leading the top.
