• TMDL Promulgated in December 1998
• Nanticoke TAT formed in 2000
• January 2003 Final Team PCS Recommendations
  submitted to DNREC
• DNREC convened PCS Workgroup to identify
  agriculture reduction efficiencies
• Determine Future Implementation goals
• 2004? Promulgation of Recommendations

  compliance with the CBP

Storm water

• BMPs currently in place
• Of the 24,624 acres of developed area,
  approximately 1,074 acres are being treated by
  storm water structures and filtration devices
• Several combined sewer overflows in Seaford were
  eliminated

Agriculture

• BMPs currently in place
• 7,837 ac. of cover crops
• 221 ac. of ponds, wildlife habitat, grassed
  waterways, and grassed filter strips (CRP)
• 1,578 ac. of grass, forest, and riparian buffers
  and restored wetlands (CREP)
• 100 ac. treated by water control structures
• 45,342 tons of poultry manure relocated
• 104,387 ac. receive phytase poultry manure
• 6,043 ac. have nutrient management plans
