  • You will be taking a web journey to discover
    information about a certain Greek God so you can
    make a poster.
  • There are 12 major Greek Gods. Your teacher will
    help you choose one to chase down.
  • Once you have a god to research you will hop onto
    a web page to find out some vital information to
    use in your poster.

Information needed for your Poster
  • The name of the god (2 pts.)
  • A picture of the god (choose something
    appropriate for a poster or draw your god in
    action) (3 pts.)
  • A brief description of where the god is from and
    where the god can usually be found (in other
    words, where does the god spend his time in the
    myths?) (5 pts.)
  • He is the god or goddess of? (2 pts.)
  • This god is famous for? (2 pts.)
  • Relatives?  (parents, siblings, what god or gods
    did he marry, love, or desire?) (2 pts.)
  • Does this god have a weapon he likes to use? (2
    pts.)
  • What are things he likes to do? (2 pts.)
  • What other identifying characteristics or
    interesting facts have you discovered about your

    agriculture. She invented the bridle, which
    permitted man to tame horses, the trumpet, the
    flute, the pot, the rake, the plow, the yoke,
    the ship, and the chariot. She is the embodiment
    of wisdom, reason, and purity. She was Zeus's
    favorite child and was allowed to use his weapons
    including his thunderbolt. Her favorite city is
    Athens. Her tree is the olive. The owl is her
    bird.
