Materials Needed for Bird Watching
  • -your eyes and ears
  • -a bird guide book or resources

Hints for Observing Birds
  • Watch for birds early in morning or at
    sunset.
  • Spread some birdseed on the ground or sit near a
    birdfeeder.
  • Sit quietly and watch. Noises or movement will
    scare the birds away.
  • Record what you see in your notebook and on you
    data sheet.
