  • By 1900, things begin to change in America and
    for the next 20 years, we enter the Progressive
    Era
  • Americans began to react to the working
    conditions by working for change

  • These reformers were known as Progressives
  • These progressives had different methods for
    achieving change instead of strikes
  • They used the govt heavily, and Presidents Teddy
    Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson started programs to
    help them
