• The Phoenicians were very skilled at many arts
  and crafts and produced a lot of work.
• Lets look at some of the things they were famous
  for

metalwork, jewellery, ivory carving, glass and
dying cloth.

The Phoenicians were famous for this wavy style
of glass vessel. What might it have been
used for?
Glass heads like this one were very popular and
were worn as jewellery.

• Investigate the different types of Phoenician art
  on the internet.
• Can you design a piece of art for a Phoenician to
  wear?
• Remember what they liked and were good at to give
  you ideas for motifs!

Ruins

• Many of the objects have had to be reconstructed
  as they were unearthed in pieces!
• Could you reconstruct any of these pieces its
  like a very difficult jigsaw puzzle and you dont
  even know if you have all of the pieces!!
