Why we use SecuGen Sensor ?

• We are currently using SDA03M sensor for
  LM520-FOSC
• A new model with SDA04 sensor (FBI Certified,
  FIPS 201/PIV Compliant, GSA APL Listed) will be
  introduced in mid. 2010 to address the high end
  market

FAQ master/slave

• LM520-FOSC and LM520-FSC are not inter-operable
  in the same master/slave network
• because of the different in template format and
  matching algorithm
• LM520-FOSC can used with LM520-SC, LM-SM super
  master because they are all using LM series data
  structure.

FAQ Can LM520-FSC be upgraded LM520-FOSC

• Yes,
• If LM520-FSC was purchased after Nov. 1st 2009,
• simply replace the daughterboard with
  LM520-FOP-RD and change the firmware.
• If LM520-FSC was purchased before Nov. 1st, 2009,
  
• send the motherboard to the factory for minor
  rework
• then replace the daughterboard with LM520-FOP-RD
  and change the firmware.
• LM520-FOP-RD is more expensive than LM520-FP-RD

• Smart cards used in LM520-FSC can be used in
  LM520-FOSC as well.

FAQ Installation

• The mounting dimension of LM520-FOSC and
  LM520-FSC are the same
• Both models use the same power supply with the
  same power consumption
• The relay, wiring terminals, power connector,
  external relay connector, and wiegand output
  connector are the same for both models.

• LM520-FOSC-SAM sample unit for evaluation is
  available after Nov. 1st, 2009
