  • Clostridium tetani
  • Toxins released by bacteria interfere with
    nervous system
  • Severe muscle spasms and death
  • Commonly contracted from deep puncture wound or
    self-piercing with contaminated materials

  • Mycobacterium tuberculosis
  • Fatigue, weight loss, fever, chronic cough
