• Time was created by God for Humanity (Gen
  114-19)
• He does not need it
• He exists in a timeless place/dimension called
  Heaven

Time . . .

• Is linear (Matt 2818-20 Luke 24 323-38

• Is finite/quantifiable/measurable (Gen 114
  822 Gal 410)
• Is part of space-time continuum (Dan 220-2,
  28-45 91-2, 24-7 128-13 2 Cor 121-4 Rev

• Will cease in the future

• Biblical time may be divided into 2 categories
• Chronos - chronological time started in Gen 1
  and ending in Rev 21)
• Kairos - specific times and seasons when GOD
  chooses to intersect with chronos time e.g.,
  the IncarnationGal 44).
• Gods original intent was for chronos/kairos to
  coexist (as before the Fall)

• Biblical time is also related to the concepts of
  Salvation History and the Kingdom of Heaven/God
• Salvation History
• is set in context/begins after the Fall in
  Gen 315
  w/seed of the woman prophecy of Messiah
• is carried through the OT by Salvation acts of
  Yahweh for His chosen
  people/prophecies (prophetic time) of Messiahs
  first Coming,
• is confirmed by Jesus Christs Incarnation, Life,
  Death, Atonement, Resurrection, Ascension,
  starting the Church (Body of Christ in the NT,
  further prophesied in the NT (apocalyptic time)
  to be completed at Messiahs Parousia (Second
  Coming)/the eschaton/end of the age

• The Kingdom of Heaven will be addressed in detail
  tomorrow
• The best estimate of the year 2014 in chronos
  time
• Corresponds to the year 5774 per the Jewish
  calendar
• 6018 per the best combined estimate of the
  Julian, Gregorian, and Bishop Ussher calendars
• 6014-6015 per Michael Roods newly discovered
  Astronomically and Agriculturally Corrected
