- U.S. citizenship
- A Ph.D. or equivalent professional/terminal
degree in your field - For professionals and artists outside academia,
recognized professional standing and substantial
accomplishments - Teaching experience as required by award
- Limits apply to prior Fulbright Scholar grantees

discipline awards, open to all fields. - Opportunities for research, lecturing/research
and lecturing. - Awards in the social sciences and humanities are
offered in nearly all countries. All academic
fields and many professional fields are eligible - The region also offers broad ranging discipline
specific awards in a over fifty fields including
the arts, medical sciences, engineering,
entrepreneurship, and journalism for early career
professionals

relation to international exchanges, career

- German Studies Seminar Program
- Designed for up to 25 U.S. scholars in German
Studies and disciplines related to the seminar
topic that will be posted to the CIES web site
soon. Applications are welcome from U.S.
university, college and community college

- Program focuses on research in a broad range of
topics related to EU policy and EU-US relations,
and can be located in any EU Country (Link) - Police Studies/Criminal Justice Awards
- Offer an opportunity to enable emerging,
mid-career, or senior domestic police officers
and police administrators, with traditional
experience in public law enforcement, to conduct
research on an aspect or problem of policing
shared by U.S. and U.K. (Link)

- Awards viewed as among the most prestigious
appointments in the Fulbright Scholars Program - Offers 40 awards in 14 countries across Europe,
