• Federal Bureau of Investigation.
• A group of people who work hard to solve crimes
  and prevent them.
• They want to make sure that you stay safe
  wherever you go. They want to help keep kids
  safe on the Internet.

The FBI came up with 5 ways to keep you safe on
the Internet.

Safety Tip 1
Never give out personal information such as
your name, home address, school name, or
telephone number on the Internet without your
parent's permission.

Safety Tip 2
Never write to someone who has made you feel
uncomfortable or scared.

Safety Tip 3
Do not meet someone or have them visit you
without the permission of your parents.

Tell your parents right away if you read
anything on the Internet that makes you feel
uncomfortable.

Open the Internet Safety folder in your class
folder on the server. Select one of the Web
sites. Answer the questions on your handout. If
you finish early, create a poster in Word about
one of the FBI tips.
