• Predation is an interaction between species in
  which one species uses another species as food.

Cryptic Coloration

• Coloration that allows an organism to match its
  background and hence become less vulnerable to
  predation or recognition by prey.
• Chameleon

Warning Coloration

• Conspicuously recognizable markings of an animal
  that serve to warn potential predators of the
  nuisance or harm that would come from attacking
  or eating it.

• Mimicry is the similarity of one species to
  another which protects one or both

Batesian Mimicry

• Form of mimicry typified by a situation where a
  harmless species has evolved to imitate the
  warning signals of a harmful species directed at
  a common predator.

Mullerian Mimicry

• A phenomenon where two or more poisonous or
  unpalatable species closely resemble each other
  and are therefore avoided equally predators.
