  • 3a Countries with a cooperation agreement
  • (for example an INCO agreement or a
  • Scientific Technical (ST) cooperation

    Mediterranean Countries, Western Balkans,
    Developing countries, Ukraine, Egypt, Morocco,
    S. Africa, Tunisia, Argentina, Canada, United
    States, Brazil, Chile, China, India, Japan,
    Australia
  • 3b Countries without any cooperation agreement
  • Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq

General Rule / Specific Rule
  • A consortium must comprise of a minimum of three
    independent legal entities established in three
    different EU Member States or Associated States,
    of which at least two shall be EU Member States
    or associated candidate countries.
  • Only GJU Call number 2423 has a Specific Rule a
    consortium bidding for GJU Call number 2423 must
    comprise of a minimum of two independent legal
    entities established in two different EU Member
    States or Associated States.

Participation of independent legal entities
  • 1. Participation of independent legal entities
    from EU Member States and/or Associated States
  • Over and above the minimum number of
    participation established by the General Rule
    above (and the Specific Rule for GJU Call 2423),
    independent legal entities from Member States
    and/or Associated States can participate.
  • 2. Participation of independent legal entities
    from third countries
  • Over and above the minimum number of
    participation established by the General Rule
    above (and the Specific Rule for GJU Call 2423),
    participation by independent legal entities from
    third countries is, in principle, acceptable
    unless a country has no cooperation agreement.

Funding of independent legal entities
  •  
  • 1. Funding of independent legal entities from
  • EU Member States and Associated states
  • Funding in accordance with the applicable
    funding principles (50 - 100) is possible.
  • 2. Funding of independent legal entities from
  • Third countries
  • Funding is only possible in case the activity
    to be funded is essential for carrying out the
    project (this should be evident in the
    proposal).
