The purpose of Gods revelation is to invite us
to respond in faith.

1. By faith we give our minds and hearts to God,
   trusting in His will and following the direction
   He gives us.
2. This response is called the obedience of faith,
   involving our entire being.

2. Faith is a grace (or gift) from God that
brings us into union with God, the Father Son and
Holy Spirit. Faith is

• Both personal and communal.
• A free adherence to the Triune God and everything
  He has revealed.
• Seeks understanding and is a friend to reason.

• d. Necessary for salvation.
• e. Gift of grace.
• Believes with conviction in a Person and His
  message.

3. Growing in faith is a daily process, growing
in stages over our entire lifetime.

1. The goal of faith is eternal union with God in
   heaven.
2. Faith is supported by the teachings of the
   Church, from Christ and passed on through the
   Apostles.
