• James 214-17 What good is it, my brothers, if a
  man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can
  such faith save him? 15 Suppose a brother or
  sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If
  one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well
  keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about
  his physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the
  same way, faith by itself, if it is not
  accompanied by action, is dead.

1. Our Spiritual Journey begins with Faith in
Christ.

• Ephes. 28-9 For it is by grace you have been
  saved, through faith--and this not from
  yourselves, it is the gift of God-- not by works,
  so that no one can boast.
• Antimony of...
• The Sovereignty of God and the Free-will of man.

• Hebrews 116 And without faith it is impossible
  to please God, because anyone who comes to him
  must believe that he exists and that he rewards
  those who earnestly seek him.
• John 1516a You did not choose me, but I chose
  you and appointed you to go and bear fruit--fruit
  that will last.

2. Christ working in us Results in Good Works.

• Eph 210 For we are God's workmanship, created in
  Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared
  in advance for us to do.

• John 155 "I am the vine you are the branches.
  If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear
  much fruit apart from me you can do nothing.
• Galatians 522-23a But the fruit of the Spirit is
  love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
  faithfulness, gentleness and self-control...

3. An Alive unseen Faith is Proven by our seen
Actions.

• James 226 As the body without the spirit is
  dead, so faith without deeds is dead.
• Good Works, Fruit, Deeds, Actions,
  Lifestyle , etc.

Before David faced Goliath, before Daniel faced
lions, and before Peter faced waves... they all
walked with God!

Gods Looking...

• 2 Chron. 169a For the eyes of the Lord range
  throughout the earth to strengthen those whose
  hearts are fully committed to him...
• 2 Cor. 510 For we must all appear before the
  judgment seat of Christ, that each one may
  receive what is due him for the things done while
  in the body, whether good or bad.

4. Be Building Your life Toward Eternity.

• 1 Cor. 312-15 If any man builds on this
  foundation (Christ) using gold, silver, costly
  stones, wood, hay or straw, 13 his work will be
  shown for what it is, because the Day will bring
  it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and
  the fire will test the quality of each man's
  work. 14 If what he has built survives, he will
  receive his reward. 15 If it is burned up, he
  will suffer loss he himself will be saved, but
  only as one escaping through the flames.

• Col. 323-24 Whatever you do, work at it with all
  your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men,
  since you know that you will receive an
  inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the
  Lord Christ you are serving.

  deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do.
