• Available on Alpha hardware
• Assembler based
• Different code-base to Adabas on Open Systems

• Available only on Integrity hardware
• Same C codebase as Adabas on Open Systems
• Controlled release to restricted customer set
  since 1Q2009
• ADA 6.1.8 currently in test
• Planned GA in 4Q2009

Migration Adabas v4 to v6

• Database migration
• Takes place in situ via utility (ADACVT)
• Direct call interface is compatible
• Some DCL scripts will have to be adapted manually
• Natural is also compatible
