  • Is necessary to build and repair muscle and all
    tissues.
  • Is needed for cells to talk to each other.
  • Is burned to provide energy.

Avocado- saturated fat
Vegetable Oils-unsaturated fat
  • Is required to keep our bodies warm.
  • Protects our muscles, bones, and organs.
  • Allows us make cell membranes.
  • Is burned to provide energy

If you eat more food than you need it can lead to
CHRONIC DISEASE.

Is caused by eating too many calories (from any
source).

Is caused by eating too much processed sugar and
being overweight.

materials to promote health, you are more
likely to live a long, healthy life!!!

  • Stay at a healthy weight and if you need to lose
    weight, take positive steps to do so.
  • Eat 5 or more fruits and vegetables everyday.
  • Dont eat too much fat, sugar, salt or
    cholesterol (found mostly in packaged foods and
    fast food).
  • Learn how to work through stress so that you do
    not stay upset.
  • Smile and laugh often.
  • Be kind to yourself and to those around you!
