phylogenetic trees of Tamarix microbial
inhabitants. High quality 16S rRNA gene sequences
(gt 900 bp), were introduced to the ARB database
(LUDWIG et al. 2004) using the parsimony
algorithm of ARB, optimized by several protection
filters. Phylogenetic trees were constructed
using ARB's Maximum Parsimony (MP) algorithm,
with Thermofilum pendens as an outgroup taxon.
Sequences are identified by their Genebank
accession number. Blue sequences from clone
libraries Red sequences from isolates.
