- In 1565 was when Henry Hudson was born.
- He was born in England.
- He lived near the tower of London.
- He was early England explorer John Davis
grandson.
3Family History
- Married to someone named Katherine.
- Related to someone who used to work in a company
he worked in later life. - He had three sons named Oliver, John, and
Richard. - John Hudson went on many voyages with Henry.
John was also a cabin boy on board.
41st and 2nd Voyage
On May 1st of 1607 they set sail aboard the
Hopewell. He went from London to Greenland, then
Spitzbergen, to a small island, and back to
London.
On his second voyage he left from London, to The
coast of Norway, then Nova Zembla, and back to
London.
53rd and 4th Voyage

The Dutch east Indies Company Hired him to find a
northern passage, but he ran into heavy ice.
Instead of turning back he went west. He went to
Nova Scotia. When he returned he was sent to
jail.
On his 4th voyage he set out on the 17th of April
in 1610 aboard the Discovery with a crew of 23.
He went on the coast of Iceland and Greenland.
He found the Hudson Bay and when the ice blocked
him in his crew sent him adrift.

- He was also famous for dying and it had told
people not to go through that passage.
