Henry Hudson was a great explorer. He was from
England and he became a sailor. Scientists
believe that he was born on September 12, 1570 .
Henry Hudson wanted to find a new sea route to
Asia. Henry Hudsons crew forced him, his son
and a couple more sailors on a small boat without
any food and water adrift in 1611 and they
starved to death. Henry Hudson was a great
sailor from England.

Henry Hudson went on four great voyages. He
never found what he was looking for(a new shorter
sea route to Asia). However he found a bay in
Canada and a river in New York. Henry Hudson
sailed on two boats the Half Moon and the
Discovery. Holland and England sponsored Henry
Hudson during his one year of exploring. Henry
Hudson tried his best on all of his four voyages.

four voyages He explored a bay in Canada and a
river in New York. He claimed land for England
and made a successful settlement there. He
provided information for maps(where a bay and a
river were located). Henry Hudson had two great
discoveries.
