• 7) Question How do I give a grade to a Level 1
  ESL student for Lead 21 assessments?
• Answer If the student is a beginning ESL student
  and has limited English proficiency, a grade of
  N/A is acceptable.
• When giving an N/A for the reading or writing
  grade, comments should be provided in the free
  comment section to support the reason why no
  grade was given.
