  • PowerPoint is a tool designed to enhance your
    presentation not be your presentation.
  • You are the presenter.
  • You are the focus.

  • Create a logical flow to your presentation.
  • Dont be random.
  • Be well organized.

  • Make your presentation readable.
  • At least 28-point font is recommended.
  • Be consistent

  • Use major news networks (MSNBC, CNN, CBS, ABC,
    The New York Times)

  • Print the front page of the main article and
    staple it to the back of your outline

  • You must recognize, while you are speaking, any
    outside source used in your speech.
  • A proper citation tells the name of the author
    (if available), the name of the source, and the
    date it appeared.
  • Make sure to include the source citations within
    your outline as well.

  • According to Bea Kool, in her 2003 book, Smiles
    Dont Hurt, the average person smiles 72
    times each day.
