3MCCH VisionWhat is the mentoring ministry of
MCCH ? Mentoring ministry is a life
transformation ministry. Lord willing, one
family at a time locally and globally.
4How does mentoring complement discipling ?
- Discipling a mentoring relationship with
specific focus on becoming a follower of Jesus. - Mentoring a mutual relationship with an
intentional agenda to convey specific content
along with life wisdom from one individual to
another. (Dr. Howard Hendricks)
5MCCH Goals
- To assist church to become spiritual family to
families by training couples to mentor parents in
the seven stages of the family life. - The seven stages of the family life cycle
mentioned in Dennis Raineys Ministering to
Twenty-First Century Families include - premarital couples
- couples without children
- couples with preschool children
- couples with elementary age children
- couples with teens
- couples with grown children
- couples who are retired
6MCCH Goals
- To train parents to model Christs character and
teach biblical principles to transform their
children to become Christ-like in character,
knowledge, relationship and ministry. - To teach parents in the context of personal
relationship to become servant leaders, visionary
leaders, shepherd leaders and Spirit-led leaders.
7Biblical Foundation for Christ-centered Home
- God commands parents to teach their children
His laws so that they will love and obey Him
(Deuteronomy 66-9, Ephesians 64). - Parents can powerfully influence their children
to trust God by sharing their personal
experiences of God (Psalm 783-6). - God calls His servants to restore love between
parents and their children (Malachi 45, 6) - Church servant leaders are developed and proven
in the home (I Timothy 34, 5)

- Mentoring for Christ-centered Home exist to
partner with evangelical churches to create a
church and home partnership that raises
servant-leaders for Gods kingdom through
mentoring in the context of the home and the
church.
