Administration (NCPEA) AN INVITATION (Who we
are and what we can do for YOU!)

The Mission of NCPEA as a professional academic
organization, is to advance the field of
educational administration, both in leadership
and management, through research, teaching, and
service, as a means to prepare aspiring and
practicing educational administrators.

The purpose of NCPEA is to prepare outstanding
educational practitioners, the central focus of
NCPEAs efforts. This is an effort that works to
create improved practice and ethical
administration wherever schools, colleges, and
communities are engaged in education. The
organization seeks to provide opportunities for
those interested in or engaged in educational
administration preparation that may advance the
profession.

• As an NCPEA member, take advantage of what NCPEA
  has to offer
• a forum for professors and practitioners of
  educational administration
• advice on critical educational issues in policy
  and practice in U.S schools, university
  programs, government agencies and to other
  educational groups
• the opportunity to join in research, add to
  best practices in teaching and service, and
  provide a variety of venues for publication and
  information dissemination
• collaboration with local, state, national, and
  international organizations concerned with the
  betterment of educational administration
• assistance and mentoring for students and
  beginning professors
• promotion of ethical standards in leadership
  and management
• promotion of diversity and the equal
  representation and rights of all persons
• engagement in other activities deemed by the
  membership to be in the best interests of NCPEA.

The National Council of Professors of Educational
Administration is a not-for-profit, volunteer
organization. The strength of NCPEA is its
membership and the hard work and efforts that its
members provide for one another. Join in the
spirit of service to each other for the
betterment of educational administration and the
PK-12 students of this country. YOU and NCPEA
will both benefit from your generous spirit of
service!
