Documenting Evidence From a Crime Scene

  • Chart each others teethYou must TYPE all
    comments!
  • Count how many teeth are present
  • Mark missing teeth
  • Mark damaged teeth (cracks, fillings, crowns,
    etc.)
  • You must use the correct names and locations of
    the teeth in your recordings
  • Note discoloration of teeth
  • Note direction of teeth, such as turned inward or
    outward, widely spaced, close together, crowding,
    etc.
  • Note cutting surfaces (smooth, uneven, or
    inclined)
  • Note the bite in relation to the teeth of the
    upper jaw and lower jaw when they come together
    (under bite or overbite)
  • If you are a group of 3, one person will be the
    dentist, one will be the assistant, and one will
    be the patient. If you are a group of 4, you will
    have two assistants, one dentist, and one
    patient.
  • Switch places until all group members have been
    charted.
  • DO NOT PUT YOUR NAME ON YOUR DENTAL RECORDS!!!
