3Planned Changes
- Changes are planned that will affect the
following user profiles - Applicant
- HR Users
- Recruiting Managers
- Reviewer
- The changes are designed to enable the above
groups to interact more seamlessly during the
recruitment process and drive out further
productivity efficiencies in the process, thus
further shortening the time to recruit and saving
money for the Trust in cost to recruit and
temporary staffing overheads.

7HR User Enhancements
- Designed to enable HR to add value to the
recruitment process by empowering them to create
long-lists based on the job description and
person specification requirements thereby - Saving valuable line manager time that would
otherwise be spent reviewing unsuitable
applicants - Enabling HR to apply their softer skills in
communicating with the candidate and managing the
recruitment process effectively

When submitted the selected options are
highlighted to recruiting managers who then
shortlist the applications
New Functionality To indicate the application
status and facilitate long-listing

When the recruiting managers have completed the
shortlist and returned it HR will see the results
via the indicator

Interview letters can be sent by mail or post a
report is available to ensure the interviewers do
not become double-booked

Applicants often complain they do not receive
feedback this function is designed to make this
more straight forward to supply
It is designed to enable HR to create bespoke
messages but also empowers them to create and use
form letters

vacancies they have been asked to review

- The NHS Jobs team are confident that the solution
proposed has been robustly validated with all
stakeholder groups and offers additional value to
the NHS - These changes will offer the NHS a more efficient
and effective way to get the right candidate into
the job in the most time efficient way - As with all NHS Jobs developments flexibility is
in-built to enable Trusts to work with the system
rather than be constrained by it
