2Every complete sentence has two parts subject
and predicate
- The subject is the who (or what) the sentence is
about. - The predicate tells what the subject does.

4To Find the PREDICATE
- Ask what does it do?
- Find the verb (action or linking)
- Draw a vertical line before the verb
- The predicate is the rest of the sentence.
