Reading I----scanning skimming (2m)
Write down the three ways in which gravity
changed for Li Yanping.
12
The way gravity changed
Left the earth
In space
On the moon
  1. The gravity became very strong.

2. The gravity disappeared.
3. It became very light.
13
His weights changed three times too. Now write
them down.
14
The weight changed
Left the earth
In space
On the moon
He became very heavy.
He had no weight and could float around like a
feather.
He was about one-sixth of his weight on the earth.

Pre-writing (3m)
You are expected to design 3 problems
Main ideaexplain the three problems you will
have while visiting the moon.
Paragraph 1 problem 1 and how you will solve it.
Paragraph 2 problem 2 and how you will solve it.
Paragraph 3 problem 3 and how you will solve it.
Summing up how successful the holiday will be if
you follow this advice.
23
Sample article If I visited the
moon, I might have three problems how to
breathe, how to eat and how to move around.
24
I would find it difficult to move around on
the moon as I would weigh one-sixth what I weigh
on the earth. This means I would bounce like a
balloon if I try to walk. I would have to learn
to walk differently so that I dont fall over.
25
I would have to carry all my air with me if
I went to the moon. This is because the moon has
no air of its own. So I would need oxygen tanks
placed on my back so I could breathe all the time.
26
I would have to take all my food with me
if I went to the moon. In the spaceship, there is
no gravity so the food would float around. So, I
would make sure that it is specially made as
space food and then I would be able to eat it
easily.
27
If I follow this advice, I think I will have
a good holiday on the moon.
28
