Admission in to our Nursing Program

• Students must apply during priority filing period
  as a Nursing Major.
• Minimum criteria
• Complete with a C or better Biol 65, Biol 66
  and Micro 20
• 2.5 GPA in 30 most recent graded semester units
• 2.75 GPA in composite of five prerequisite
  courses
• (Biol 65, Biol 66, and Micro 20, Engl 1A,
  Psych 1)
• Entrance criteriaStudents meeting the above
  minimum criteria will be ranked according to the
  following criteria
• GPA in 30 most recent graded semester units
• GPA in composite of five prerequisite courses
• Score on Test of Essential Academic Skills
  (TEAS)
• Note Priority will be given to those with the
  highest GPA (starting at 4.0) and TEAS scores
• For any of the 11 prerequisite courses that are
  repeated, the first and second grades will be
  included in the calculation of the GPA.
