Proposal for comprehensive Feasibility / Market
study is written - Fall 1997 RFP is published
- April 1999 Research firm hired. Feasibility
study begins - February 2000 Feasibility study ends

for construction - hires contractors, architect
and project manager - January 2002 CSU Board of Trustees approves
project, by then, known as Campus Village - January 2003 Red bricks retired

- Excavation consisted of a 70 foot hole for the
parking garage - 500 million gallons of water were pumped out each
day during the excavation process - Filled a dump truck every 90 seconds
- 530 units
- Over 100 Bathrooms
- Over 24,000 pieces of furniture
- Over 11,000 Windows (just student rooms)
