SCIENTIFIC NOTATION a convenient way of writing
very large (positive numbers of 10) or small
(negative values of 10) made up of a number
from 1-9 plus a decimal, multiplied by a power of
10. Ex 2.9 x 107 or 6.0 x 10-5 29 000 000

  Using Scientific Notation   Very easy   When
you are dividing two numbers with powers of ten,
you subtract the powers of ten.   When you are
multiplying numbers with powers of ten, you add
the powers of ten.  2
