• Analogical reasoning is a hallmark of human
  intelligence. In a story transfer situation, how
  do children deal with analogical reasoning?
• Methods 4-6 yr olds, 10-12 yr olds. Had to
  figure out how to move the balls from one bowl to
  another. Could use various tools including
  walking stick, hollow cardboard tube, flat paper,
  distracters. Preceded by analogous problem story
  genie with a magic staff, genie with a magic
  carpet.
