Homework Policy
  • Students are responsible for recording the 2 to 3
    assignments per day in their planners.
  • Homework with errors will be stamped and placed
    in the corrections folder. This folder will go
    home on Friday to be completed and signed over
    the weekend.
  • If homework is not handed-in on time and/or
    completed, an IOU is submitted and parents are
    notified by a stamp in the planner.
  • Parents will be contacted if a persistent problem
    of not turning in homework and/or corrections on
    time continues.

How can I help my child?
  • Discuss their reading with them as much as
    possible.
  • Help them learn the basic math facts of addition,
    subtraction, multiplication, and division by
    memory.
  • Encourage independence at home regarding
    homework.
  • Provide a quiet place for them to do their
    homework immediately after school.
  • Support a sense of responsibility
  • for their school work, supplies, and behavior.
