what makes it stand out! Because it hasn't been
done yet! That gives leaders an opportunity to
be leaders and not just imitators.

Never reject a possibility because your mind is
already made up. I have learned so much about
theology from the architects that I have worked
with. And I have worked with some of the
greatest architects of our century. Louis Kahn
said it, "If I've got all the answers, I can be
sure of one thing, some of my answers are
wrong." That's humility.

Never reject an idea because it's illegal. Listen
carefully.Under no circumstances do I dvocate or
approve an illegal act.But there are many
ordinances and regulations that need to be
changed to increase opportunities for freedom of
movement So, if a law is blocking your idea
maybe it should and could be changed.

Never reject an idea because you do not have the
money, the manpower, the mental power or the
muscle. The power of the vision and the power of
the dream out paces any obstacle! If I am living
by faith and following the guidance of God.He
will give me impossible ideas. Then I make the
decision to move forward before I can prove I
will succeed.

Never reject an idea because it will generate
conflict. Every new idea creates some
opposition. Every new proposal offends someone.
When we decided to build the Crystal Cathedral,
some of the members of our congregation did not
like the idea, and they left. In a free society
every single great idea, if it is proposed, will
generate conflict. This separates the leaders
from the followers.

Remember success is more important than
style. What is important? What is the right way?
Learn to accommodate. Prepare to compromise.
Plan to adjust. Readjust your budget. Compromise
your taste.Accommodate your life-style because
success is more important than style.

taught me that some people fail because they are
afraid of success. This is very true.
