• God gave you special abilities that are meant for
  use in building up our church family and for
  reaching out to the world with Christ's love.
• Preaching, Evangelism, Missions, Apostle
• Teaching, Encouragement, Wisdom, Discernment,
  Knowledge
• Service, Mercy, Hospitality, Pastoring, Giving
• Music, Arts and Crafts, Intercession, Healing,
  Miracles
• Leadership, Administration, Faith

Heart

• God gave you unique passion for particular
  activities, subjects and circumstances. He gave
  you a heart for the things you feel deeply about
  to help you define how and where He wants you to
  serve Him.
• Children, Adults, Married people, Single people,
  Elderly, Teenagers,
• Overseas missions, inner city missions, etc

• You have abilities that you can use in specific
  ways
• Vocational skills
• Carpentry, Mechanic, Brick Laying, Farming, etc

• God wants your personality in ministry!
• Extroverted/Introverted - Do we get energy from
  being with people or being alone?
• Thinker/Feeler - how do we make decisions, using
  objective facts or intuition?
• What kind of tasks do we prefer - routine
  (predictable) or variety?
• Self-controlled/self-expressive - are we more
  open or controlled in our moods, words and
  reactions.
• Relating to other people - are we more
  cooperative or competitive?

Experiences

• God has placed a multitude of experiences in your
  life to help mold you for ministry. He can, and
  will, use the experiences in your background to
  help heal the hurts of others in His church and
  in your community
• Up-bringing, diseases, family struggles, inner
  struggles
• Anything and everything you are willing to give!

Get Plugged In

• Best way to find your SHAPE is to experiment.
• Go on a mission trip
• Volunteer for a committee
• Sing in the choir
• Pass out bulletins
• Cook a meal
