- Council Regulation amending General Regulation
(COMM)1083/2006 - Regulation amending ERDF Regulation (COMM)
1080/2006 - Spanish Presidency priorities
- To transmit to the EP the importance and need
of collaborating and working together on this
dossier from the beginning. - 3. International Fund for Ireland ? need of
changing the legal basis - Spanish Presidency priorities
- To discuss and agree on it, in the framework of
SAWP (possibly next 15th February).
4 - Cohesion Policy issues under the Spanish
Presidency - The COMM will publish its Strategic Report,
based on reports presented by all MS on the
contribution of EU Funds to the achievement of
their objectives and functions, as well as to
priorities of strategic guidelines (according to
Arts. 29 and 30 of the General Regulation on
Structural Funds). - It should be delivered by the 1st of April 2010.
- Spanish Presidency priorities from April 2010
- 1. To elaborate and reach consensus on
conclusions on the COMM report, at SAWP and at
COREPER level. - 2. 14 June, CAG meeting to present the report.

(WIRE2010), 15-17 March, Granada. High level
conference organised by the Spanish Ministry of
Science and Innovation, together with the
COMM. High level forum for discussion of
stakeholders good practices and ideas on how to
make the best of European, National and Regional
funding for RD and Innovation. Objective to
move from synergies of policies to synergies
of actions for the optimal use of existing EU
instruments in order to make regions full
protagonists in building the knowledge-based
society.

(WIRE2010), 15-17 March, Granada. WIRE 2010 is
the result of merging 3 conferences a)
Conference on the efficient and effective use of
budget earmarked in Structural Funds for RTD and
Innovation, including their synergies with the
7th Framework Programme (FP7), and the
Competitiveness Innovation Programme (CIP). b)
Research potential Conference, focused on the
assessment of results and the identification of
best practices of the Research Potential
Programme (REGPOT) within the FP7 Capacities
programme. c) Regions of knowledge Conference,
which deals with the assessment of the results
and the identification of best practices of
Regions of Knowledge (REGIONS) within the FP7
Capacities programme.
