  • Granger Laws Munn v. Illinois- gave states the
    right to regulate railroads.
  • Interstate Commerce Act- Federal government can
    regulate activities of the railroads
  • Labor Unions- emerge from unsafe working
    conditions, long hours, no vacation or sick time.
