Concept of Operations

• Maximize historical significance of convergence
  of Museum Opening, Marine Corps Birthday, and
  Veterans Day throughout weekend
• Afford priority for attendance at Dedication
  Ceremony to Campaign donors and exclusive tours
  of the Museum to Veterans groups
• Utilize registration/fulfillment center for
  ticketing/credentialing on first come/first
  served basis
• To fittingly Dedicate both the National Museum of
  the Marine Corps and Semper Fidelis Memorial Park
  prior to General Public attending 13 Nov

• Anticipated 35,000 attendees Ticketing based on
  donor status
• POTUS invited High potential accept
• Satellite parking/Bus shuttle movement to site
• Program
• Pre-Program Band, Static Displays, Jumbo Tron
  Images
• Begins with Flag Pageant with Organizational
  Colors of the Marine Corps
• 21-Gun Salute to POTUS
• National Anthem
• Invocation
• Speeches
• Fly-Over
• Marines Hymn
• Opportunity to walk through Museum

Group Tours for Veterans11 12 Nov 2006

• To afford exclusive tour opportunities for group
  sizes up to 2,000 for approximately 1 hour each
• Depending on Fulfillment Center registration
  numbers, will cycle tour groups all day Saturday
  11 Nov and Sunday 12 Nov
• Group tours will utilize satellite parking lots
  and shuttle bus service to the Museum
• Volunteers/Docents will guide/facilitate each
  group tour

Candlelight Ceremony/Twilight 11 Nov 2006

• To Commemorate Opening of Semper Fidelis Memorial
  Park on Veterans Day
• Program to consist of historically uniformed
  Marines, Dedication speeches, and candlelight
  march into the Park
• Focus is on the memorial impact of the Park and
  its enhancement to overall visit experience to
  the Marine Corps Heritage Center
