Limitations of existing solutions

• No communication with the meter
• Meter must be at customer site/home
  difficulties of access and monitoring
• Difficulties in identifying malfunctions,
  sabotage, unpermitted usage (bypassing)
• Meters are relatively expensive - containing an
  identification mechanism in addition
• Additional costs - producing magnetic cards etc
• Inability to revise back to Postpaid
• No automatic alerts (SMS) for low credit etc

The Larotec Prepaid solution is based on Any type of meters that provide serial input/output and embedded/external relay for connection and disconnection command. Larotec Advanced Automatic Meter reading system provides a complete remote prepaid management.
The prepaid solution provides the following features Point of sales web based application Point of sales management system Back office transaction processing for the AMR system Interface with customer existing information and billing system for transaction tracking and debt settlement with POS.
