18OBOD Overview Challenges
- Considering Kentucky
- Sometimes the saying everyone is on the
internet isnt actually accurate. For every one
of our citizens that CAN get online, there are
two that CANT. When you look closer at the
everyone you realize that many times that it
looks more like less than everyone can access
the internet. In our rural areas it can be more
like one in a hundred, one in three hundred or
even one in a thousand are online. We all know
the possibilities of high speed internet
education, economic development, eHealth,
e911/FirstNet, 211, 511, and many others. - How do we move Kentucky forward in all of these
aspects?
