What is Cloud?

• Cloud Computing allows us to access the
  applications as utilities via the Internet. This
  allows us to create, configure and customize the
  applications online.

The term cloud refers to the internet or a
network. In other words, we can say that Cloud is
something, which is located in a remote location.
Cloud can provide services via private and public
networks, ie WAN, LAN or VPN. Applications such
as email, web conferencing, CRM conditions
(customer relationship management) are run on the
cloud.

• Cloud Computing intends to manipulate, configure
  and access remote hardware and software
  resources. It offers data storage, infrastructure

• Deployment models define the type of cloud
  access, that is, how the cloud is located.
• The cloud can have four types of access.

The public cloud allows services and systems to
be easily accessible to the general public. The
public cloud may be less secure due to its
opening.
Public cloud
The private cloud allows services and systems to
be accessible within an organization. It is safer
due to its private nature.
Private cloud
Community cloud
The community cloud allows a group of
organizations to access systems and services.
The hybrid cloud is a mixture of public and
private cloud, in which critical activities are
carried out using a private cloud, while
non-critical activities are carried out through
the public cloud.

Service models
Cloud computing is based on service models. These
are classified into three basic service models
that are
Anything-as-a-Service (XaaS) is another service
model, which includes Network-as-a-Service,
Business-as-a-Service, Identity-as-a-Service,
Database-as-a-Service or Strategy as a
service. IaaS stands for Infrastructure as a
service is the most basic level of service.

Infrastructure as a service (IaaS)

• IaaS provides access to basic resources such as
  physical, virtual machines, virtual storage and
  more.

Platform as a service (PaaS)

• PaaS provides the runtime environment for
  development, applications, and deployment tools,
  etc.

Software as a service (SaaS)

• The SaaS model allows you to use software
  applications as a service for end-users.
