1. Prohibited Conduct (work performance)
  • Failure to carry out assignments/instructions
  • Engaging in unauthorized business
  • Disclosure of confidential information
  • Falsifying records
  • Negligence in performance of assigned duties

2. Use of Property
  • Unauthorized/improper use of telephone or mail
    service
  • Unauthorized possession or removal of University
    Property
  • Unauthorized posting or removal of signs from
    Bulletin Boards
  • Unauthorized use of University keys
  • Unauthorized entry to University property,
    including outside of assigned hours of work

3. Personal Actions and Appearance
  • Threatening/intimidating bodily harm and/or
    abusive language
  • Unauthorized possession of weapons
  • Making false or malicious statements
  • Use of or reporting to work under the influence
    of alcohol/illegal drugs
  • Failure to exercise good judgment in dealing with
    fellow employees, students, general public
  • Inappropriate dress or lack of personal hygiene

f. Inappropriate Dress
  • Casual Dress
  • Be modest (no butts, bellybuttons, or breasts)
  • No attire with writing (except UWW wear in good
    condition)

4. Excused/Unexcused Absences
  • Attendance and punctuality concerns
  • Failure to report promptly at start of shift
  • Leaving before scheduled quitting time
  • Unexcused or Excessive absenteeism
  • Failure to notify supervisor promptly (24 hour
    advance notice) of unanticipated absence or
    tardiness

4. Excused/Unexcused Absences cont.
  • c. Responsible to find a reliable substitute for
    planned absences
  • d. Thursday and Fridays high call-in days
    if you are scheduled you are required to work
  • e. Students that do not show up for a work
    shift and they have NOT notified their
    supervisor, will receive a letter of warning. A
    second offense may result in termination of
    employment
