- To prepare for FCE, you will be graded on process

the Department of Languages Guidelines. These

11Oral Grading Policies
- Understanding and Communication of Ideas
understands and communicates at the required
level. Are you sticking to the topic or not
answering what you have been asked to discuss. - Accuracy Makes a few (if any) noticeable e
error so f grammar or word order. - Pronunciation and Intonation Always and easily
intelligible. Words are pronounced correctly and
proper intonation is used for English expression. - Vocabulary Always uses appropriate vocabulary
and idioms for language level. - Fluency Speech is fluent and effortless. If
student cannot remember a word, then uses a
different means to express the same idea.
