• Grants licenses to pharmacists and pharmacies

Licensing of Pharmacists

• Graduation from an accredited pharmacy school
• Completion of specified internship requirements
• Attainment of a specified age
• A passing score on the licensure exams
• Demonstration of good moral character

  pharmacist supervision

• Some practice acts do not regulate hospital

• Remember medication orders of inpatients are not
  prescriptions
• Filling prescriptions for outpatients and

  pharmacy license or permit

  pharmacy and obtain the residents medications
  for local pharmacies
